In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal including a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap. After dinner, snuggle up in the living room for a movie on flat screen TV or you may want to relax in the hot tub before retiring for the evening. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor,1 bedroom with a king size bed and another bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a full size bed in the loft bedroom with 2 recliners, TV, pool table and another full bathroom with a stand-up shower.
After a long day of vacationing and exploring the beautiful high country, you will enjoy returning to Appalachian Sky. The large deck is fully equipped for a BBQ (charcoal grill located next to cabin), relaxing in the hot tub, or having a glass of wine while relaxing on the awesome deck, all the while, taking in the beautiful layered views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Enjoy a round of golf which is just 10 minutes away at Mountain Aire Golf Club. For more information about the great town of West Jefferson and Ashe County where Appalachian Sky is located, please visit the Ashe County Chamber. No matter what season you decide to travel to Boone and the Blue Ridge Mountains there will be countless of outdoor adventures for you and your family to explore. Enjoy the slippery ski slopes in the winter, the amazing flower blooms and the majestic rides along the Blue Ridge Parkway in the spring, the brilliant changing of the leaves to gaze at in the fall, and the bike rides, music festivals, hiking, and white water rafting in the summer all add to the incredible draw of activities you'll find here in the place we call home, The Blue Ridge Mountains!At Appalachian Sky, we believe that nobody should be left behind. Why leave your pet at home when you can bring it along for the adventure of a lifetime? Well behaved dogs are welcome for a one time nonrefundable pet fee of $50/pet for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds or $75 for dogs weighing more than 41 pounds. Service animals are always welcomed. There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons and a 3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October. 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday and a 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays. Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 11:00 am. NO SMOKING is allowed inside of our cabins! As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
