Welcome to Riverside at Eagle Ridge! New to our family June 2022!
“Riverside at Eagle Ridge” is located on the North Fork of the New River in Warrensville, NC. We are located just 15 minutes to downtown West Jefferson and 10 minutes to Lansing. A North Carolina fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16 and a stamp is required for trout. Licenses can be purchased online from the Wildlife Resources Commission or from a number of fishing and general stores in Ashe County.
Our home IS pet friendly, but there is a maximum of 2 dogs weighing less than 40 pounds, each. The pet fee is $75 per pet plus tax and must have management approval. We ask that you clean up after your pet’s “business” and properly dispose of the waste.
MAIN FLOOR: The main floor offers a king size bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, full bathroom and access to the deck with the hot tub and gas grill.
The living room offers a gas fireplace (seasonal) for those cold winter days, a wall of windows to enjoy the river views, and plenty of seating with a leather couch and 3 chairs.
The kitchen has regular coffee maker, Keurig maker, and basic appliances, and fully stocked kitchen with cookware, silverware, and most everything you need to prepare a great meal. The dining area can seat up to 6 guests
The bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed and Roku TV. The bathroom is in the hallway (not En Suite) offers a standup shower.
UPPER LEVEL: The sleeping loft offers 2 twin beds and access to the full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The private 2nd bedroom is on the upper level with a queen bed and Roku TV.
LOWER LEVEL: As you travel to the lower level, you’ll love spending time playing a game of pool. There is a sitting area with a couch and chair and a Roku TV. Enjoy the convenience of a small wet bar with a sink, microwave and mini fridge. The 3rd bedroom with two double beds and the 3rd full bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo is on the lower level. There is a full size washer and dryer in the utility room as well.
OUTSIDE: You can access the back yard and river from the lower level. Walk down to the fire pit (wood not provided) located next to the river and enjoy the sounds of Mother Nature and breath in the clean mountain air. Enjoy fishing or swimming in the river.
After a long day of fishing, hiking, shopping, skiing or a stressful day, enjoy soaking in our 5 person hot tub on the upper deck. Sit and relax on the covered deck or enjoy grilling your favorite steak on the gas grill.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
***It may be necessary to have 4X4 vehicles with tire chains during the winter months.
***The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
***There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
***No Smoking inside the cabin
***Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
***Check in time: 4:00 PM; Check out time: 10:00 AM
2 night minimum for off peak seasons
3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October
4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays
As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions.
