Arrival and Departure
Rain, fog, snow, and other weather-related conditions are a natural part of visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains. Winter weather may occur from November through April, and mountain roads can become icy or snow-covered.
Guests traveling during winter weather should arrive prepared with a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle, good tires, and tire chains when conditions require them. Guests are responsible for monitoring the forecast and preparing for potentially hazardous road conditions. Refunds, allowances, and date changes cannot be provided when guests are unable to reach the property because their vehicle or party was not appropriately prepared.
Come experience the beauty of A River Runs Through It for yourself. Between the luxurious interior, private river access, and peaceful waterfront setting, you may never want to leave. The New River is often described as one of the oldest rivers in the world—and this cabin gives you a front-row seat to its timeless beauty.
