Sunset Vistas is a one level cabin with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom that sleeps 2 guests. It offers beautiful long range mountain views, privacy and approximately 10 minutes to downtown West Jefferson with grocery stores, shopping and dining. Sorry, but no pets allowed.
Enjoy your private retreat with a 2 person hot tub, WIFI, fire pit (wood not provided) views and a fully stocked kitchen with an open floor plan. The kitchen boasts a dishwasher, granite counter tops, microwave, 2-in-1 Keurig/Coffee maker, large fridge and dining for 2.
Enjoy the mountain views from our wall of glass in the living room. There is a gas fireplace (looks like a wood stove) in the living room for those cool fall/winter days. The flat screen HDTV is a SmartTV to watch streaming apps (no live or local channels). We do have a wall mounted mini-split with AC and heat located in the living room.
The bedroom has a king size bed with a door to the outside deck with seating to enjoy Mother Nature. The full bathroom is next to the bedroom (not En Suite) that has a step in shower. Relax after a long day of hiking or shopping in our new 2 person hot tub on the covered deck. There is a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience.
Enjoy spending time around the outdoor fire pit with seating!
IMPORTANT NOTES: This cabin is access by a steep graveled road and driveway. We do not recommend low profile vehicles. Our cabin is not motorcycle or trailer friendly. Chains and/or 4WD/AWD with good tires are strongly recommended for stays during November through April.
Sunset Vistas is the perfect way to spend quality time in the mountains. For the outdoor lovers, enjoy the nearby state parks, canoeing such as Zaloo's Canoes, or hiking at one of the many trails in Ashe County. If you like horseback riding Burnt Hill Stables is a great place to take the entire family! For more information about the area visit Ashe County Chamber.
- 2 night minimum for off peak seasons
- 3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October
- 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
- 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays
