“Firefly Farmhouse” is located in Fleetwood, between West Jefferson and Boone. We are located just 10-12 minutes to downtown West Jefferson and 20 minutes to Boone. 

Firefly Farmhouse has been recently remodeled with all of the modern conveniences of today. Our dog friendly home offers 3 private bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen), 3.5 bathrooms, extra sleeping area with 2 sets of bunk beds, Sleeps up to 10 guests, WIFI, gas fireplace, hot tub, game room with Skee-ball, air hockey and Foosball, board games, outside 80” flat screen Smart TV with extra speakers, large open deck, mountain views, semi-private, close to Boone and West Jefferson, and so much more. Not motorcycle friendly. 

At Firefly Farmhouse, we do welcome well behaved dogs weighing less than 40 pounds with a 2 dog maximum (sorry, no cats allowed). There is a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $100 plus tax per dog. We ask that you pick up after your dog's "business" and dispose of the waste in the trash. The pet fee doesn't cover excessive pet hair, clean up after your dog or damages (additional charges may apply). 

Inside: As you enter, you’re greeted with an open floor plan. The living room boasts comfortable seating with a leather sectional, gas fireplace (seasonal), Roku TV with streaming apps (you will need to use your login information), and doors that will lead to the outside deck. The living room and dining area has a great mini-split ductless heating and AC for year round comfort. 

The beautiful, modern, and spacious fully stocked kitchen has the modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, Keurig maker, regular coffee maker, fridge with ice maker, electric oven, cookware, dinnerware, stone countertops, large pantry and almost everything needed to prepare a meal. The dining area can accommodate up to 8 guests. 

There is a half bathroom just off of the kitchen area. 

The master bedroom is on the main floor. The master suite offers a king size bed, Roku TV, mini-split heat/AC unit, doors that go onto the deck with the 80” flat screen TV, and En Suite bathroom with step-in tile shower, double vanity sinks and a private room with a toilet. 

Upper Floor: There are 2 bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom boasts a king size bed with doors to a private deck with seating, Roku TV and mini-split with heat/AC. 

The other upper floor bedroom has a queen size bed, Roku TV and mini-split with heat/AC. There is a full bathroom between the 2 bedrooms with a tub/shower combo.

Lower Level: The entire family will enjoy spending time in our game room with a Skee-ball game, Foosball, and air hockey. Plus, there is a game table to play board games or cards. There is a 65” flat screen Roku TV and a sectional for entertainment. 

There are 2 sets of built in bunk beds (twin over twin) for additional sleeping, a refrigerator and a sink.

The 3rd bathroom is on the lower level and has a tub/shower combo and the full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
 
Just outside the lower level exterior doors is a porch swing to enjoy and relaxing after a long day. 

Outside: Step outside onto our open deck with lots of deck seating, a large 80” flat screen smart TV, exterior speakers, gas fire pit, gas grill and 2 picnic table. You’ll just love spending as much time outside as you would inside. 

Relax in our private and soothing hot tub and gaze at the stars at night. There is also a wood burning fire pit with seating with privacy.

****Important Notes:
-Tire chains and 4WD/AWD may be necessary during the winter months.
-The owners may use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
-There is no land-line phone in our cabins. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
-No Smoking inside the cabin.
-Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
-Check in time: 4:00 PM; Check out time: 10:00 AM 
-Dogs weighing less than 40 pounds considered with management approval

***7 night minimum for the July 4th week and Christmas/New Year holidays 

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, and some foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
