This nice and comfortable 3 bedroom cabin with 2 and half bathrooms is just what you've been looking for. Escape the summer heat by staying at our cabin, "Grandfather View" with an elevation over 3,500'. We are located just 3.1 miles to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. You can also enjoy hiking at the close by Otter Falls. Otter Falls is located in Seven Devils and about a 10 minute drive from our driveway. 

Excellent location with all paved access (driveway is graveled but flat) within minutes to snow tubing, zip lining, skiing, shopping, and everything else in the High Country. The town of Seven Devils is centrally located to Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock, and all of the major attractions in the area. 

MAIN FLOOR: Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by our spacious open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The living room has a flat screen TV and a nice stone gas fireplace to cozy up to during those cold winter days. There is a powder room on this main floor as well. You can access the deck on the back of the home to enjoy the views of Grandfather Mountain! 

The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, built in microwave, and side by side fridge with in-door ice/water dispenser. The dining table can comfortably seat up to 6 guests. 

The master bedroom boasts a king size bed, flat screen TV, and an En Suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and his/hers sinks. 

UPPER LEVEL: There are 2 additional bedrooms along with a full bathroom and loft on the upper floor. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed. The loft area has additional seating and sleeping with sleeper sofa (NOTE: We do not endorse sleeper sofas or futons for any guests over 12 years of age due to the comfort factors).

OUTSIDE: There is a nice deck to enjoy the views of Grandfather Mountain with plenty of seating. Plus there is a gas grill on the back deck as well. The covered front porch has additional seating to enjoy the outdoors.The front porch chairs can also be used at the fire pit which is in the front of the home as well.  

At "Grandfather View", we believe that nobody should be left behind. Why leave your 4-legged family member home when you can bring them along for the adventure. Well behaved dogs are welcomed for a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $100 (plus tax) per each dog with management approval.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, ice and some foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy and dangerous in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains may be necessary. It is YOUR responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date change resulting from your negligence in this matter.
