Welcome to It’ll Do Cabin — your peaceful mountain retreat nestled in the beautiful Todd community, just minutes from RiverGirl Fishing Company (2.5 miles), the charming town of West Jefferson (15 miles), the scenic village of Blowing Rock (20 miles), and Boone (14 miles).
Newly built in late 2025, this thoughtfully designed cabin combines rustic mountain charm with modern comforts. Featuring tongue-and-groove woodwork throughout, the home showcases beautiful craftsmanship and warm natural finishes. Much of the wooden furniture was handcrafted by a local woodworker using trees from the property itself, adding a unique and authentic touch you’ll notice throughout the cabin.
With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, It’ll Do Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, making it perfect for family vacations, couples retreats, or outdoor adventures in the High Country.
Enjoy cool mountain breezes, a private gated setting, and the peaceful surroundings of the North Carolina mountains while still being close to area attractions. The cabin also offers easy paved access and a level gravel driveway with parking for up to 6 vehicles, making arrival simple and convenient for your entire group. We are sorry, but our cabin is not pet friendly.

- Dining table seating up to 8 guests with 3 additional seating at the kitchen island
- 2 Queen bedrooms, each with Smart TVs and ceiling fans
- Full Bathroom with tub/shower combo (shared)
- Laundry area is located between the 2 bedrooms

Whether you're exploring the many hiking trails in the area, fishing in the New River, skiing the slopes, or just enjoying the serenity of the mountains, you'll find everything you need for a memorable stay. Sorry, but no pets allowed.

Minimum Stay Requirements
- 3 night minimum required
- 4-6 night minimum for major holidays
Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: 4:00 PM or later
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
- No smoking inside the cabin
Additional Notes:
- All High Mountain Cabin Rentals’ homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, 1 roll of paper towels, liquid hand soap (toiletries such as shampoo, bodywash, lotion is NOT provided). There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
