Longview Retreat

Escape to Longview Lodge, a peaceful 1 bedroom mountain retreat in Creston, NC, designed for two guests looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This private getaway features beautiful views of Three Top and Phoenix Mountains, covered decks with rocking chairs, a fenced-in yard, and a cozy open floor plan perfect for a quiet mountain stay.

The main level offers a comfortable living area with recliners, a sofa, Smart TV, and seasonal gas fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a dishwasher, regular coffee maker, and Keurig. Just off the living room, you’ll also find a convenient half bathroom.

Upstairs, the bedroom and full bathroom provide a comfortable and private space to rest after a day of exploring. The home also includes a washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, and mini-split AC units on both floors for year-round comfort.

Step outside and enjoy the peaceful setting from the covered decks, complete with rocking chairs and a gas grill overlooking the mountains. Gather around the outdoor fire pit in the evenings (wood not provided), let your dog enjoy the fenced-in yard, and take in the quiet privacy that makes Longview Lodge such a special place to stay. 

***Our home IS pet friendly, but there is a maximum of 2 dogs weighing less than 40 pounds, each. The pet fee is $125 per pet plus tax and must have management approval. There is a fenced in yard to let your dog roam. We ask that you clean up after your pet’s “business” and properly dispose of the waste. There is a doggie bag waste station for your convenience.

Longview Lodge is accessed by a graveled road and offers a private, quiet mountain setting. Downtown West Jefferson is approximately 30 minutes away, where you can enjoy local shops, restaurants, art galleries, breweries, and small-town charm.

Additional Notes:
- All High Mountain Cabin Rentals’ homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, 1 roll of paper towels, liquid hand soap (toiletries such as shampoo, bodywash, and lotion are NOT provided). 
-We do not provide hair dryers
-Towels and linens will be provided. 1 towel and washcloth per person per stay
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
