It was a great getaway and unfortunately not all our youth leaders were able to return this year but we hope to again pick a date that they might be able to again next year. Been coming here since our first grandbaby was a babe in arms (she is nine now). We missed once or twice when I was too late booking. However, the family loves the location, ease of travel to and from even when weather is bad. We like having the space, the kids love the games and room in the garage to play and run a bit. The Dads and GrandDd like the projector television for the football games. We all like seeing the deer come up in the a.m. and evening. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay! The house was secluded and peaceful, with beautiful views all around. It was well stocked with everything our family needed, and we loved the fun activities in the garage. This property is beautiful and has a great location, close to Boone and West Jefferson for supplies and shopping. Even though the start of the weekend was bitter cold, it warmed up Saturday and Sunday. We even were visited several times by the herd of deer that are local! Pam and Stacey are great. We have been coming to this unit multiple times over the last eight years. It is always the first on the list for our annual Christmas Tree Trek!

The first year we were here, we brought our first grandchild, a two month old and now we have 4 grandchildren and another due in May. Beautiful home with great views. The house had everything we needed for our weekend. Your staff was very helpful through the booking process and our stay. I had to call a couple times regarding the booking to add the early check-in/late check out and one couple in our party had to add their pets late in the process. Each time I called, your staff was very helpful and addressed my needs without any trouble.

The house and property was amazing. My family and I had a wonderful time! We loved the view and spent a lot of time in the game room having great family time. The huge counter was wonderful for our homemade pizza night and the kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever stayed at. And the throw blankets all over the house were wonderful also. Plenty of room for our family of 12 to spread out. We had a beautiful view and got to see a lot of deer. The theater room was a big hit and the pool table. Stacey, the property manager was great in getting us a propane tank for the grill within about 20 min of me texting him stating that the propane seemed to be out. WOW; that alone makes me want to rent this house again. The house was fantastic, the views are amazing, and the aforementioned service was above and beyond.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with High Mountain Cabins and the Wolf Ridge Chalet property. From my initial inquiry online all the way through check out after our stay, the customer service provided by Stacey was top notch. Multiple times I had to email him to change our special requests or ask a clarifying question and he always replied promptly. Stacey provided 5 star customer service, even through my few specific requests and schedule changes. I truly felt prepared and knew what to expect of the weekend before we even got there. Thank you for being so accommodating! The home itself was incredible. A beautiful, secluded Mountain View, wrap around porch and more than enough space to accommodate 14 people. Everything was clean, comfortable and inviting. I have raved about this experience to friends and family and we are already planning another trip back in 2 months! Thank you for exceeding our expectations and allowing us to have a weekend full of memories!

The property was in an outstanding location and was large enough for our group of 11. The view was spectacular and peaceful. Being able to park 6 motorcycles in the garage was SO appreciated. The property was great!!!! We enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the fire pit was breathtaking. I plan on coming back with my family. My only suggestion is to get a bigger refrigerator for the kitchen. You can move the smaller one downstairs. That way you have plenty of room to store all the food. We didn't want to leave the cabin so we brought a lot food and drinks. The small fridge could barely hold enough food for just 2 days. We had to use our coolers outside (it was cold enough) to store drinks. Having a refrigerator downstairs would be nice too for snacks and drinks while you are hanging out down there.

Awesome cabin with beautiful views!! Was even better than we expected! The small kitchenette downstairs was an extra bonus! We set our coffee pot area up there & enjoyed early sunrises while the others slept in upstairs! Loved the movie room, pool table & game table but my favorite spot was the covered porch looking out over the beautiful view!! I could have sat right there the whole week! We spent our last night eating hot dogs & roasting marshmallows by the fire pit! It's about a 15 mile drive into Boone or Jefferson so site seeing trips were easy to plan. There's also river access less than a mile away...great for swimming, tubing or fishing! There's a Dollar General about 3 miles from cabin on 421 so very convenient for last minute items. We would definitely recommend this place...you will not be disappointed. We did not want to leave!! Having sheets already on beds was super nice for us!! We've vacationed 9 years together & every time it said "linens provided" we would find them in a storage tub waiting for us to use. With 7 beds to dress it always took a good part of our first night to get it done! Having beds already ready meant we could start enjoying our stay much faster. Thank you from all the wives for that special treat!! Stacey was super to work with. Answered all my questions and had everything done in a timely manner. Loved having the lock box at property so we didn't have to drive to realtor office.

Beautiful and well equipped. Bedding was especially comfortable. The cookware exceeded our expectations and the dinnerware and flatware were plentiful for our large group. Stacey brought us salad dishes as there was no large bowls when we arrived. We cooked every night for 13 hungry people and needed serving dishes. Very accommodating.
