  •    The house was incredibly clean and welcoming. My two boys (5 and 8) loved it, and there was plenty of room for extended family. It was well stocked with games, kids toys, and other activities.

  •    The property was actually as described. Beautiful views. Was a little worried about the neighboring cabins with us having two smaller children, that they may be too loud for the neighbors. Other than that, would definitely rent this cabin again.

  •    I had the most relaxing and comfortable stay. I have already given your name and number to my sister in law so she can call and find a place for her and my brother for their vacation this summer. The cabin was awesome and my fur babies loved every minute of our stay. I can't say enough about Pam and Stacey for making my vacation one to remember. Thank you

  •    We loved this property. It was well equipped for a rental. There were towels available for he hot tub so we did not have to use our own as stated in the description. There were so many games and puzzles that kept us busy as we had 2 days of rain during our 2 week stay. We so enjoyed the hummingbirds and deer we saw on the property. We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin is beautiful for a rental. Great relaxing time!!!!

  •    My family and I had a wonderful time in the Mountain Heir cabin celebrating my daughters birthday. The kids (and our 2 dogs!) enjoyed the big yard to play in, had a great time in the game room and hot tub, and the beds were very cozy and comfortable after long days out exploring and hiking in the blue ridge mountains! It was so quiet and peaceful and just what we needed for a family getaway. The cabin was awesome! I will most definitely recommend this cabin to others!

  •    We really loved our stay at Mountain Heir for the week. It was simply wonderful to escape the heat of the Piedmont and enjoy cool mornings sipping coffee and sitting on the glider on the back porch. The yard was perfect for our two small children to run and play. We LOVED going tubing on the New River and found Zaloo's Canoes to be the perfect outlet. This was our first family trip to the mountains and we all had a fantastic time - looking forward to returning to Mountain Heir or another High Mountain property soon.

  •    We saw wild turkeys in the back yard--a hen and her poults. We heard an owl and turkey gobbler out the back. This is really a great new cabin and the wood floors throughout are lovely.

  •    This was a wonderful experience for our family and a great place to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday. We all were truley impressed with the house and there were many discussions over the course of the stay of how this is the kind of place we want to retire to. The house is well laid out and was a realy pleasure to stay at. We will definitely want to revisit and enjoy the experience in other seasons of the year.
